Cloud Microphones use patented JEFT circuitry to couple with your preamp directly. There are no capacitors, transformers, or transistors in your audio path, so there's zero coloration in the boosted mic signal. This unit is safe to use with delicate ribbon microphones because the phantom power doesn't pass through CL-1 to the mic. It is recommended to start with the lowest gain and then turning on the phantom power. Make sure to turn up the gain slowly to your desired level.
