TOMCHEI SHABBOS

Based in Queens & Bergen County, Tomchei Shabbos aims to "serve as the “middleman” between the hungry & those willing to share.” Volunteers consider individuals in need to be their extended family, and delivers about 400 packages of food to them weekly.

CHICKENS FOR SHABBOS

Chicken for Shabbos feeds and clothes critically lacking families living in Israel at zero expense to them. Helping those out of work and in debt to find employment and covering the costs of medical appointments are just a few of the countless miracles that this charity performs.

CAMP HASC

Camp HASC provides a seven-week sleep-away camp experience for over 300 mentally and physically handicapped children and adults. Campers participate in an immersive program full of speech and other types of therapy, as well as recreational activities like roller skating and field trips. Quantum’s HASC volunteers love how the camp allows those with disabilities to have a fun and normal summer experience.

Amazon Merchandising Specialist

The Amazon Merchandising Specialist is a key member of the Buying Team. You will help to grow the Blucoil brand, Quantum’s private label brand, by researching and building bundles for our diverse range of brands. In collaboration with the Buying team, this individual will work to increase our presence across multiple eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with entire E-Commerce team to maximize sales and growth for our Blucoil Bundle business
  • Set priorities and manage projects between the Brand Management, Purchasing, Brand Development, and Product Development teams

The Purchasing & Inventory Analyst will project, plan and price inventory for our fast paced eCommerce company. This candidate will be responsible for analyzing new lucrative vendors and dealer sheets as well as setting pricing and restocking existing products and potentially new SKUs for our eCommerce store and marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Restock inventory on all online sales channels (Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com, Bestbuy, Rakuten, etc. by forecasting trends and demand.
  • Identifying new opportunities/products.
  • Adjust order volumes and pricing based on buy-in opportunities, vendor stock issues, seasonal
    fluctuations.
  • Analyze new vendors and dealer sheets to create an initial purchase order.
  • Set pricing strategies for new products, and refine pricing strategies for existing products.
  • Follow up with vendors on product deliveries, out of stock issues, pricing issues.
  • Co-ordinate with Logistics team to ensure timely receiving of products and to decrease
    warehouse costs.
  • Work closely with eCommerce buyers to identify aged inventory and implement actions to
    minimizing such inventory.
  • Co-ordinate with vendors for new products / pricing / promotions.
  • Work jointly with the finance team to ensure proper and accurate invoicing.
  • Address all other pricing and planning duties as directed by the buyers’ team.

As a member of our Brand Management Team, you’ll be an integral part of bringing the best brands and products to our customers.  Reporting directly to our Brand Managers/ Buyers, and working closely with our Marketing Department, you will set-up phone calls, create presentations, and quarterback the purchasing of new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research for tradeshows and assist in scheduling meetings for shows
  • Create brand presentations
  • Analyze new vendors and dealer sheets to create initial order

The Business Development Manager will impress prospective brands, close brands and build new relationships. Bringing their insight, ideas and vision, the best candidate will have an entrepreneurial personality, work well individually as well as part of a team, be outgoing and persistent. Relocation is provided.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Understand the full scope of a prospective partners' business
  • Research, identify and analyze potential new to market brands
  • You will study market prices and trends, and reach out to cultivate relationships with new, innovative tech brands to bring them on as a client while negotiating pricing and payment terms to maximize profits and sales volume

Requirements:

  • Persistence, integrity, and patience in seeking new accounts, focused on outbound prospecting
  • This position requires consistent month-to-month performance and hitting a minimum quota requirement
  • High comfort level with sales and cold calling prospective suppliers
  • Highly self-motivated, go-getter
  • Fearless in combining strategic phone and email outreach
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through is VITAL
  • Ability to analyze sales trends
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • A people person who effectively articulates ideas and gains trust quickly
  • Negotiates agreements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience of closing accounts (NOT account management)
  • Sales experience required
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative e-commerce environment
